    How do you crack an egg?

    How do you crack your {raw} eggs?

    Do you tap-tap-tap intil it cracks?

    Or do you give it one firm, perfect tap?

    {I might have an opinion on egg cracking.}

    Shopping!

     Sunday my daughter and I popped into a little shop on our way back to the car. We had been to an outdoor art event and were both without our wallets. OR...I would have come home with at least one of the little cup and saucers I found.

    The cup and saucers pictured below were only about three inches tall. Sooooo cute. I'm sure they would make fabulous additions to staged photographs, and tablescapes.  The shop owners let me take photos in the store once I assured them that I was not a spy for another shop. So many colorful things there longing to be adopted.

    Missed photo OP

    I had been eyeing  a crabapple tree by the side of the road for a couple of weeks.  There was a hint of fall in the leaves, and it was FULL of crab apples. Surely the subject of a few charming photos. But... I kept forgetting to walk up the street with my camera. (this was a daily drive-by event) Yesterday I made it up there only to find that there were only about 5 apples left IN the tree and being that the tree was on a slope, it was really too hard to get good photos of those remaining.
    I did find it strangely satisfying to squish the crab apples under my feet.
